You Tried It! You TRIED!

Shad Gregory Moss, also more commonly known as Bow Wow, decided it was a fine day last weekend for an ignorant
comment. Given, common sense is NOT so common these days. In fact, it is a rare commodity, thus, it is of NO surprise that Bow Wow, like many before and after him, who happen NOT to think before they speak, decided to make the comments he made via Twitter. Now, what are these comments you may ask? Well, in a summarized form, Mr. Moss, a.k.a. Bow Wow, so un-eloquently stated, that he cannot relate to civil rights issues due to the simple fact that he is of a mixed race decent. *Insert Michelle Obama's side eye.* Sir, you cannot WHAT?!?! Shad... Gregory... Moss... please find yourself the nearest seat possible and have it for the remainder of your life. Do NOT get up. Do NOT pass go. Do NOT collect $200.00. Your Chance and Community Chest cards have been revoked. You have been permanently removed from this game of Monopoly for your sheer, insurmountable stupidity.

As I've always believed, silence is golden and it speaks just as many volumes as noisy chatter. If you cannot find the right words to say, then saying nothing at all will do just fine. It is no surprise, like most Americans, you have no knowledge of politics and / or very little knowledge of your ancestor's heritage. That is fine. Honestly, that is how many of us colored folks and non-colored folks were raised. When you do NOT know better, you cannot DO better. How, Mr. Moss, do you believe slavery was able to exist as long as it did? By simply removing education, you take away one's power to have the purest mind: a FREE mind. A FREE mind is an educated mind. When you know what THEY don't want you to know, then they cannot control you any longer because you know what to do to overcome them. However, we shall not dive too deeply into the shackling of the slave's mind as it is a topic all in its own. Rather, what we shall continue to discuss is how your blissful ignorance just got you DRAGGED across all the WOKE streets of Black Twitter.

It appears that idiots of one delusional feather flock together ― like your famous colored counterparts, reference Stacey Dash, Raven Simone, just to name a couple NOTEWORTHY lost colored souls. However, it seems that you, Shad, have jumped feet first into the driest well of Tom-Foolery. Do you honestly believe that due to your mixed race that the powers-at-be will not simply see a BLACK man?! According to the brown paper bag rule... Shad... YOU GUESSED IT: you are BLACK! That one drop rule... oh shoot, what do you know: you are BLACK! Need I continue?! I think not as I believe the point is made. You cannot go through this life believing that you, as a man of color, have any rightfully earned "Get Out of Jail Free Cards." The actual reality is that you do not. You do not have the same privileges afforded you as a man of non-color does. Since you are wealthy, still living off your Lil' Bow Wow coins, it MAY SEEM that you have made it. Trust and believe that once that small well of coins you are living on dries up, then, like now, people will continue to STILL NOT CARE about you. Your relevancy is about as important as the Planet Pluto's relevancy post- it's dismissal from the planet registry and pre- it's reinstatement as a planet again. So, do not go on a quest to re-instate your relevancy in the most ignorant of fashions. It hasn't fared well for anyone of color who has believed that POC only have a problem because they, POC, created it themselves.

On that note, I'll simply end by saying, that you, Shad, a.k.a. Bow Wow, needs to re-listen to a critical moment in Jesse Williams acceptance speech in which he discusses the way people who address race related issues and civil rights related issues are misguided. And it goes a little something like this:

"The burden of the brutalized is NOT to comfort the bystander. That's NOT our job. Stop with all that! If you have a critique for the resistance, for our resistance, then you better have an established record of critique of our oppression. If you have no interest for equal rights for black people, well, then do NOT make suggestions to those who do. SIT DOWN." ― Jesse Williams

Learn sir! LEARN! Opening a book will do wonders for you. So, the next time you feel the need to comment on anything related to the plight of the colored man / woman, do a little research on your end. That is all. *Drops mic. Exists stage left.*
